- And on that note welcome to histology. Histology, like anatomy, requires
time spent looking at the tissues and learning to identify them in different
places. It's wise to keep up with the material because as you move from
tissues onto the organs made up of those tissues you need to build on that
initial knowledge. You have to master the basics to move on to more complex
structures. But it's a very doable task.
- This first unit acquaints you with the way things look with different
stains and why. It also shows artifacts of preparation so you don't confuse
them with actual structures. And now, on with the show.
