Inner membranous layer ( Scarpa’s Fascia) continues into thigh and scrotum

Deep fascia

  2. Inner investing layer forms the posterior wall of the inguinal canal ( transversalis fascia)
  3.

Subserous (extraserous) fascia
            - External backing of serous membrane (ex. Peritoneum). In this case the

-The lateral 3 muscle have aponeuroses that surround the middle muscle (rectus abdominus
-parts of the ribs serve as the superior attachments
-parts of the pelvis serve as the inferior attachments
