You will be asked to use the above concept to follow how the pH in different compartments affects a drug's accumulation. In the following model, we will consider an equilibrium situation for the distribution of an acidic vs. a basic drug between different compartments, based on the assumption that only the non-charged form of the drug can cross the inter-compartmental barriers.
